Description:
The idea with this logo was to get away from the typical "apple" teacher of the year logo and use a icon symbolic of teaching/school/education while incorporating the letters "TY" in to the icon

I like it. I thought you where using the yellow section as an open book and the gray and pink area as stacked books? Perhaps make the end of the pencil more rounded like if a book where opened and perhaps not as long... **I like it as you have it currently, as well.*
